How Strong is Strong Enough?

James Craig's exclusive Integra CR™ Foundation System with vertical and horizontal steel rebar which is 39% stronger than other standard poured foundations.

Concrete strength is measured in pounds per square inch (ppsi) – building codes mandate that concrete must be at least 3,000 (ppsi). Coello & Associate’s Integra Foundation has a rating of 4,000 psi, which creates a much stronger wall.

Another component that impacts a foundation's strength is the amount of steel rebar.  While few builders add vertical rebar, this makes a foundation wall substantially stronger than a poured foundation without additional reinforcement. Vertical rebar provides the wall with the strength needed to resist soil pressures, while horizontal rebar helps minimize shrinkage cracking.
